1. Easy on the trigger
Hold your AIRbrush like a pencil, with your index finger rested lightly on the trigger and the tip of the AIRbrush tilted downwards. Then, pull the trigger back as gently as you can. As a general rule, never pull more than halfway back to achieve that sheer, buildable coverage. With airbrush makeup, a little goes a long way!
2. Keep Your Distance
For a soft, feather-light, buildable coverage, keep the AIRbrush about 4 to 6 inches away from your face. To make it easier for you to determine the perfect distance, make a fist and hold it up to the side of your face. If your makeup feels heavy or wet on the face, there's a pretty good chance your AIRbrush is too close.
3. Keep airbrush moving
Draw small, imaginary circles with your airbrush to ensure that your makeup is applied slowly and evenly to your skin. To avoid streaks and an uneven application, keep your airbrush moving in a slow, circular motion, and never linger in the same place too long.
